And neither do the workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month there are <strong>23 workshops<\/strong> on offer for PG research students, covering everything from qualitative research methods and thesis writing to systematic reviews and scholarship funding. Whether you&#8217;re just getting started or pushing through to the finish line, there&#8217;s something here for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good news for those in their first year of a PhD: there is a brand-new intensive <strong>Confirmation of Candidature workshop<\/strong> designed to help you ace this important milestone. You&#8217;ll learn about the confirmation process, what to focus on in your research proposal, how to plan a timeline for your PhD, and how to give a confident presentation about your planned research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A couple of other highlights worth calling out: if you&#8217;re thinking about presenting at a conference or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aut.ac.nz\/research\/postgraduate-student-support\/events\/research-symposium\">AUT PG Research Symposium<\/a>, <strong>Writing an Abstract for a Conference or Symposium<\/strong> (16 June) is a great place to start.
