Do you have something to share with our PG community? Whether it’s findings, a literature review, or an innovative methodology, it’s welcome at the AUT Postgraduate Research Symposium<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next Postgraduate Research Symposium will take place on Tuesday, 1 September 2026<\/strong> at the AUT City Campus. This is part of AUT Wiki Rangahau | Research Week<\/a>, so there will be lots of other events during the week as well. The day is an opportunity to meet other PG research students, enjoy stimulating presentations, share kai, and celebrate the valuable and exciting work done by our PG whanau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This symposium mimics an academic conference in that it brings researchers together for talks, poster presentations, and a keynote. The process to present also mimics academic conferences – you will write and submit an abstract, which will be reviewed, and you will be supported to polish it for publication before preparing your presentation. This is a great way to get familiar with the conference process, all in a friendly, local, and free symposium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All currently enrolled AUT research students are eligible to present. This includes PhD and professional doctorate students, Master\u2019s research students, and Bachelor of Honours research students (including those whose thesis or dissertation is under submission). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
