The 22nd Australian & New Zealand Obesity Society Annual Scientific Meeting was held in Auckland last week. A group of world leading scientists were brought together by Professor Elaine Rush and delivered terrific speeches in a public lecture, “For our children’s children, what is (y)our responsibility?”. The public lecture was chaired by Jenny Shipley and lectured by professors Barbara Rolls, Wayne Cutfield, Jim Mann and Jacqueline Rowarth.<\/p>\n

This lecture includes the following keynotes:
\n“Do life events contribute to adult obesity and diabetes?” by Prof. Wayne Cutfield;
\n“Understanding eating behavior in order to improve children’s diet” by Prof. Barbara Rolls;
\n“Don’t put all (y)our eggs into one or even two basket(s)!” by Prof. Jim Mann; and,
\nabout food price index by Prof. Jacqueline Rowarth in the first two videos.
