NEW ZEALAND Herald Reporter winner of 37th<\/sup> Annual Qantas Media Awards Junior Journalist.<\/p>\n

She graduated in March 2008 with a Bachelor of Communications majoring in journalism and minor in PR.<\/p>\n

For the NZ Herald she has been the South Auckland; Education; General; Pacific Island Affairs and general news reporter.<\/p>\n

At the Qantas media awards the judges said that Tapaleao\u2019s \u201c impressive portfolio would have pushed the seniors hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her coverage of the sinking ferry MV Princess Ashika in Tonga was recognised by the NZ Human Rights Commission in 2013.<\/p>\n

Chief Executive Officer Guardians <\/strong>of New Zealand Superannuation Fund \u2013<\/strong> and Portfolio Managers Joe Halapua and John Bartley<\/p>\n

Adrian joined the Guardians in February 2007 from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand where he was Deputy Governor. Adrian has also held the positions of Chief Economist at Westpac Banking Corporation, Chief Manager of the Economics Department of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and Chief Economist at The National Bank of New Zealand. He has also worked at the NZ Treasury and the OECD based in Paris. Adrian is Deputy Chair of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds, a Board member of the Pacific Pensions Institute, a member of the Long-Term Investment Council for the World Economic Forum, and a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the World Bank’s Treasury.
