For me, the last day of the study year is the 19th of December. \u00a0After that, I plan to spend three weeks at the beach – no study allowed! \u00a0But to get my holiday, I need to have achieved my goals by that magic date.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have quite a lot of goals to achieve between now and then: complete 16 individual interviews, code them, complete four lots of case analyses and conclusions, write 2500 words on data gathering methods, and write 2500 words on how I carried out the analysis.<\/p>\n

With my deadline nearing, I decided to leave nothing to chance. \u00a0Instead of hoping I\u2019ll get it done in time, I planned out exactly what I need to do every day to complete. Here\u2019s what the coming week looks like:<\/p>\n

Print out picture of beach and place on desk to keep me motivated.<\/p>\n

Conduct interview with MM<\/p>\n

Conduct interview with RR<\/p>\n

Read interview 2<\/p>\n

Transfer relevant information from PGR9 to ch4\/5 data gathering sections<\/p>\n

Conduct interview with BB<\/p>\n

Code interview 2<\/p>\n

Write 350 words for ch4<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/em><\/p>\n

Prepare and send transcription expenses for reimbursement<\/p>\n

Finish coding interview 2<\/p>\n

Read interview 3<\/p>\n

Write 350 words for ch4<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/em><\/p>\n

Conduct interview with WW<\/p>\n

Code interview 3<\/p>\n

Write 350 words for ch4<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Friday<\/em><\/p>\n

Finish coding interview 3<\/p>\n

Read interview 4<\/p>\n

Write 350 words for ch4<\/p>\n

Yup, it\u2019s scary, but if I didn\u2019t plan it out, I wouldn\u2019t have a chance of meeting my deadline, and I certainly wouldn\u2019t have been realistic about it. But with Saturday as a buffer, I reckon I\u2019ll be ok.<\/p>\n
