Enjoy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip #7: Doing a thesis doesn\u2019t put the rest of your life on hold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Things will happen that need to be managed including family members being sick, big life-changing events and celebrations too. Don\u2019t pretend everything is fine if it\u2019s not. Negotiate with your supervisor if you need to. They\u2019ll figure out something\u2019s happening anyway, so better to keep the communication going.<\/p>\n<p>The Tip: Don\u2019t ignore the major events in life; they won&#8217;t wait until after graduation.
