{"id":5092,"date":"2016-09-05T15:38:38","date_gmt":"2016-09-05T03:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=5092"},"modified":"2016-09-05T15:38:38","modified_gmt":"2016-09-05T03:38:38","slug":"congratulations-stephanie-anne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=5092","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations Stephanie-Anne!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few weeks ago <a href=\"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=4980\">we profiled Stephanie-Anne Croft<\/a>, who was one of five New Zealanders selected to fly out to Canberra to compete at the Australasian finals of the Falling Walls competition for innovators.<\/p>\n<p>At the finals, Stephanie-Anne pitched her research on antimicrobial films for surgical implants in front of a distinguished panel of judges, including <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Dr Stephen Goldson (NZ Deputy Chief Scientist), Dr Alan Finkel (Australian Chief Scientist) and Professor Brian Schmidt (Nobel laureate). <\/span><\/p>\n<p>They were so impressed that they awarded Stephanie-Anne 3rd place for all of Australasia!
