Competitors have three minutes to present their thesis and its significance in an inspiring and captivating way.

Read more information about the 3MT
Competition on the UQ website.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s competition will be held online. Competitors will record a video of their presentation and submit it for judging. While this is a little different to how 3MT has run in the past, the basic concept is the same: present your research clearly, with one slide, in 3 minutes. Competitors will not need advanced video editing skills, and the quality of the video and the editing will not impact upon scores.

Information on the AUT 3MT, including rules, judging criteria and important dates, is available here on the Student Digital Workspace.

Applications for the 2020 3MT Competition are now open.
