Kia ora Graduate Research Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I expect you know, in Auckland Alert Level 3 applies from 6.00AM Sunday 28 February for seven days. Unfortunately this has implications on research activity. Restrictions set by Government for the differing alert levels may be located here<\/a>. For Alert Level 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n All face-to-face research activities are not allowed, including public events, personal interviews, and experiments involving human subjects. These should be conducted remotely, where possible.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n For those in Auckland, if you have research activities planned for this week, your first contact point should be your primary supervisor. Note that laboratory activity will also be restricted, so check with your laboratory manager and\/or primary supervisor who will have information relevant to your department. Campus is closed, but there is an option to apply for temporary access should you need. Access is only available from Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00. The link to the online form is here<\/a>. Study spaces and computers will be available in the libraries at the City Campus (WA), North Campus (AL) and South Campus (MA) from Tuesday 2 March, 9am-5pm (Mon-Fri) and 10am-5pm (Sat-Sun). Physical distancing and strict health control measures will be in place. Study spaces and computers must be reserved in advance. Please check available times and book via the AUT app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We acknowledge and understand that these disruptions may be stressful, particularly where you have research activity planned.
