Do you need some quiet time and expert support to help you get through a period of intense writing? If so, you may like to apply for the next Graduate Research School Postgraduate Writers\u2019 Retreat<\/a> on 10-13 May 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, fill in the online application form here<\/a> by Friday 26 March. We recommend that you include an endorsement from your supervisor (which will need to be emailed to grs@aut.ac.nz) so you will need to request that in advance of the deadline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful applicants will spend 3 nights and 3.5 days at Vaughan Park Retreat on beautiful Long Bay beach. Accommodation and cooked meals will be provided free of charge, and writing advisors will be onsite to run group sessions and provide one-to-one support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition for places on this retreat will be very tight, because last year’s retreats had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. Priority will be given to those who were accepted to a retreat last year, but could not attend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
