{"id":9331,"date":"2022-05-04T15:06:28","date_gmt":"2022-05-04T03:06:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=9331"},"modified":"2022-05-04T15:10:51","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T03:10:51","slug":"hermeneutic-phenomenology-symposium-at-aut-this-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=9331","title":{"rendered":"Hermeneutic Phenomenology Symposium at AUT this July"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hermeneutic Phenomenology (HP) is a qualitative research method that seeks to uncover the meaning in people&#8217;s lived experiences through personal stories and reflections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sounds simple in a quick summary&#8230; but there&#8217;s a lot of theory and philosophy behind HP, and a lot to understand in order to conduct HP research responsibly and robustly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re working with (or <em>considering<\/em> working with) hermeneutic phenomenology, you may be interested in a free symposium coming up at AUT in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 Hermeneutic Phenomenological Symposium will include (among other things) a series of presentations in which PG students talk about how they&#8217;ve used HP in their research.
