This cannot be taken out as cash but may be used towards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Salaries for external contractors and Research Assistants<\/li><li>Materials for proof of concept or prototyping<\/li><li>Intellectual property protection (such as through patenting, if appropriate)<\/li><li>Market research<\/li><li>Specialist advice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit an entry to the X Challenge by <strong>Tuesday 23 August<\/strong>, ticking the option to also submit to the Research Accelerator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, contact <a href=\"mailto:sehej.s.khurana@aut.ac.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sehej <\/a>with the subject \u201cAccelerator.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you conducting technology research with business potential at AUT?
