{"id":9992,"date":"2023-06-08T11:51:40","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T23:51:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=9992"},"modified":"2023-06-08T11:51:47","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T23:51:47","slug":"learn-new-digital-research-skills-with-resbaz-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesislink.aut.ac.nz\/?p=9992","title":{"rendered":"Learn New Digital Research Skills with ResBaz 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Research Bazaar or &#8216;ResBaz&#8217; is an annual worldwide festival promoting digital literacy for research. <a href=\"https:\/\/resbaz.auckland.ac.nz\/about\/\">ResBaz Aotearoa<\/a> brings together researchers and research support professionals from across the country to share knowledge on a plethora of digital research tools and skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are over 40 sessions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/resbaz.auckland.ac.nz\/schedule\/\">schedule <\/a>this year. Topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Research data management<\/li><li>Programming languages like Rust, Python, Julia, R and RStudio<\/li><li>High performance computing<\/li><li>Tools for data analysis (including NVivo)<\/li><li>Research applications of tools like OpenRefine, Dropbox, ChatGPT<\/li><li>Publishing tools like Quarto, Zotero, and LaTeX<\/li><li>Digital collaboration tools<\/li><li>Creating visual abstracts or punchy posters<\/li><li>Digital storytelling<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can register for your chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/resbaz.auckland.ac.nz\/sessions\/\">sessions <\/a>online and attendance is online as well.
