The final six TEDx Auckland speakers have been announced, including AUT University’s Professor Welby Ings.
TEDxAuckland is returning to the Aotea Centre on 3rd August 2013, bringing some of the country’s most interesting minds together for a full day of stimulating talks, discussions and learning. The event will inspire and provoke thought by exposing attendees to a selection of world-changing ideas coming from New Zealand’s top designers, artists, scientists and technologists.
As the University for the Changing World, AUT is ideally aligned to TEDx. With many of the topics covered at this year’s event linked to AUT’s interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning, we’re proud to be sponsoring this event. AUT has close links to 2013 speakers, Professor Welby Ings, chef and author Robert Oliver who is a member of the University’s NZ Tourism Research Institute, and Masters graduate Grace Taylor. AUT will be present at the August 3 event with academics to critically comment on many of the topics covered.
