8th Annual Postgraduate Symposium

An engaging opportunity for postgraduate staff and students to check out what research projects are happening at AUT.

The event will begin with a keynote address from Dr Mari Jones, Reader in French Linguistics and Language Change at the University of Cambridge and Fellow, Director of Studies and Tutor in Modern and Medieval Languages at Peterhouse. She is also Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages.

The programme also includes AUT research students from various faculties giving a presentation talk or poster presentation on their research project.

The event will conclude with a Three Minute Thesis competition involving finalists selected through a round of pre-heats to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance, in three minutes!
