Calling all Masters students! There’s a writing retreat coming up in September and now is the time to think about applying. This is a great opportunity to nab four days of quiet writing time in the beautiful surrounds of Vaughan Park on Long Bay beach. Retreat Dates:
- Monday 7 September – Thursday 10 September (specifically for masters research students)
- Friday 31 July at 12:00pm (for masters retreat taking place 7 – 10 September)
Preference will be given to masters research students who have not previously attended this Retreat. Selection will be based on the justification for attendance. An incomplete form may result in your application not being considered.
The University Postgraduate Centre will cover all residential retreat costs, including accommodation and food. Participants will need to arrange their own transportation. All attendees MUST commit to being residents of Vaughan Park Retreat for all 4 days.
This retreat is not a series of facilitated workshops. There will be significant time available for independent writing. We recommend that you discuss this opportunity with your supervisors who may guide you in identifying the value and purpose of attending this retreat.
