The Graduate Research School (GRS) invites all postgraduate research students at AUT who want dedicated writing time to apply to attend the upcoming four day Writers’ Retreat held at Vaughan Park, Long Bay, Auckland from 3-6 April 2017. Selection will be based on the justification for attendance. Preference will be given to students who are further on with their research and those research students who have not previously attended an AUT writing retreat.
This retreat is not a series of facilitated workshops; there will be significant time available for independent writing. We recommend that you discuss this opportunity with your supervisors who may guide you in identifying the value and purpose of attending this retreat. Attendees will be asked to confirm their full attendance over the four days of the Retreat. Applications close: Friday 3 March 2017 at 12:00pm. Another writers’ retreat will be held later in the year if you are unable to register for this one.
