Volunteer for a Learning & Teaching Conference

Keen to experience a conference, but can’t travel or spend money right now? We know the feeling!

Fortunately, we have a way for a limited number of PhD students to get free passes to a teaching & learning conference right here at AUT.

The Flexible Learning Association of New Zealand will hold its biennial conference on 14-15 April 2021 at AUT North Campus from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Our colleagues in the AUT Learning Transformation Lab are co-organising the conference and are looking for event volunteers.

In exchange for taking a turn at the registration desks or being a timer in sessions, you can earn a free pass to attend the conference. This is a great way to experience first-hand what a conference involves, plus get some insights into the use of technologies in teaching and learning within higher education settings. The only requirement is that you are technologically savvy, especially in using Zoom.

If you’re interested, please email kwongnui.sim@aut.ac.nz to register or ask any questions. But be quick! You’ll need to get in touch by 15th March  if you wish to volunteer for this opportunity.
