To those who have been following the 3MT competition this year: it’s about to reach the next level.

Our AUT doctoral winner Megan Burfoot is now part of the Asia-Pacific semi-finals, which are held this year as a virtual showcase. You can show your support by viewing Megan’s presentation and voting for the People’s Choice award.

Asia-Pacific finalists will be announced on 13 October. If Megan progresses, she’ll be competing at the finals event on 20 October. You can register to watch the Asia-Pacific finals here. Good luck Megan!

The National Universities 3MT Masters Competition is also coming up on 22 October. While AUT doesn’t have a competitor in the Masters finals this year, it’s still a fantastic event to watch from the comfort of your living room. You can register here.

Thanks very much to all the AUT researchers who shared their work with us through 3MT this year, and let’s cheer on Megan as she continues at Asia-Pacific!
