Remember when we bid 2020 adieu, reflected on a year of pandemic chaos, and looked with hope toward a new year? Well, perhaps 2021 was not quite the fresh beginning we were anticipating… but we have survived another year of disruptions, and that is something to celebrate.
It’s now time for AUT to close (with the exception of a few essential services) for the holidays. The summer closedown period runs from Saturday 18 December 2021 to Sunday 9 January 2022. Additionally, most staff are not working from Wednesday 15 – Friday 17 December.
That makes today the last working day for the Graduate Research School – so we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Meri Kirihimete (Merry Christmas) me te Hape Nū Ia (and a happy New Year).
May your deadlines be distant, your experiments expeditious, and your Reviewer 2’s red pens in repose.
