It’s that time of year – we’re getting out the sunscreen and BBQs ready for a cracking Kiwi summer! We hope you are entering holiday mode too.
If you do plan to do some academic work over the summer, please be aware that the AUT summer operations period runs from Wednesday 18 December 2024 through to Tuesday 7 January 2025. During this time, many of our buildings and services are closed or access reduced and most AUT staff are on annual leave.
Our central Postgraduate Study Rooms will be accessible during this time, but only by swipe card. They will not be serviced; tea, coffee and printer paper supplies will not be replenished, and you will need to take any rubbish with you. Note that due to the campuses being closed there may not be any air-conditioning.
The university reopens on Wednesday 8 January 2025, when normal services will resume.
