Join the Research Roundtable and listen to Nadia Kalbaska for the 4th Research Roundtable.

Nadia is currently a PhD Candidate and Researcher at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI, Lugano, Switzerland) and a visiting PhD Student at NZTRI. She recently finished collecting data for her PhD thesis which looks at the use of Information and Communication Technologies for Human Resource Management (HRM) within the hospitality and tourism field. She has collected data in three different countries, UK, India and New Zealand. Attached are the details of her work. She will aim at discussing the results of the phone interviews and the online surveys that were undertaken with the travel agents based in New Zealand.

For the second part of the session, Michael Lueck, Associate Professor of Tourism and Head of Department, Tourism and Events has been invited. As somebody who has an extensive number of publications in Tourism and Recreation in Marine Environments, he will be discussing all the questions you will have related to publication issues.

As always, please feel free to bring up any difficulties or issues you are currently facing in your own research project which we can discuss either immediately or as a next topic for following round tables.  Tea, coffee and biscuit refreshments will be provided.
