TOMORROW: Researchers Networking Club

If you’re around on the city campus tomorrow (Wed 15 Nov), don’t forget to check out the new Researchers Networking Club for postgraduate students.

There will be a gathering in WU524 from 11am – 1pm. 3 Minute Thesis winner Marian Makkar will give a talk, and you will have a chance to socialise and chat.

Whether you’re a brand new research student, or a seasoned pro reaching the end of your doctorate, you can benefit from meeting with colleagues and expanding your research network.

Contact the club’s organiser Arif Syed for more details on smarif@aut.ac.nz.

About Anaise Irvine

Dr Anaise Irvine is the Editor of Thesislink and leads the Researcher Education and Development team at Auckland University of Technology. Her PhD research analysed how contemporary films and novels represent genetic engineering as a social justice issue. These days she works with researchers at all levels to improve their research skills, and the most obscure of her own research skills is being able to turn novels into phylogenetic trees!
