The AUT Ventures Research Accelerator is a parallel stream of X Challenge especially for staff and postgraduate students working on innovative technologies with commercial potential.
The Opportunity
Up to four participants will be selected to take part in the AUT Ventures Research Accelerator and will each receive $10,000 in funding to support the early stage of their research commercialisation. This cannot be taken out as cash but may be used towards:
- Salaries for external contractors and Research Assistants
- Materials for proof of concept or prototyping
- Intellectual property protection (such as through patenting, if appropriate)
- Market research
- Specialist advice
Submit an entry to the X Challenge by Tuesday 23 August, ticking the option to also submit to the Research Accelerator.
