You are invited to AUT Wiki Rangahau / Research Week 2024!
REGISTER FOR RESEARCH WEEK EVENTS HERE
From 9-13 September, AUT will be abuzz with research workshops, panel discussions, presentations, and much more. The theme of the week is Partnerships for Impact, and we will pay special attention to how you can partner with colleagues, community groups, industry, and other collaborators to maximise the impact of your research.
There are over 20 events on offer – all free – and the vast majority are open to PG research students. look for the blue and gold colour-coded sessions in the overview below.
So what do we recommend for PG students? The Postgraduate Research Symposium on Monday 9th September and 3 Minute Thesis finals on Friday 13 September are entirely PG-focused. And there are lots of other PG-friendly highlights in the Research Week programme as well. To name a few:
- Ngā hua a Tāne-te-wananga: Māori research symposium
- OUT@AUT rainbow research seminar
- Pacific research symposium
- Building partnerships for lasting impact: Lessons and strategies for early career researchers
- Curious about solving problems for impact?
- Lots of discipline-specific seminars and symposia
- and many more… check out the full programme guide below!
If you are aiming toward an academic (or industry research) career, this is a great chance to network with AUT researchers and external research partners. Many members of the wider research community will be joining us, so get in there and make an impression!
We look forward to seeing (and hearing from) many of you during Research Week. If you have any questions, please contact research.week@aut.ac.nz.
