Attention coders, data analysts, and digital researchers: the VALA Tech Camp is coming to AUT!
From 12 – 20 April there will be a series of 4-hour intensive workshops available. These are targeted especially to those in the GLAMR sector (galleries, libraries, archives, museums, and records) but may be relevant for others too. Topics include:
- Open Refine
- Data Visualisation (using PowerBI)
- Natural Language Data Processing (for Digital Humanities research)
- Python
All workshops will be delivered by expert facilitators online, with AUT participants gathering at the AUT ‘Campsite’ under the guidance of local ‘Camp Counsellors’. (Tents and toasted marshmallows not included in the camping metaphor.)
There are discounted student member prices available, but places are limited. Check this PDF for details on the AUT sessions:
There will also be a series of online TechEx talks from 9-30 April.
