First Issue of Rangahau Aranga Journal Goes Live!

This week sees the launch of AUT’s first postgraduate-led peer reviewed journal.

Rangahau Aranga: AUT Graduate Review is a fully open access, peer reviewed journal featuring content from the plethora of research disciplines and cross-disciplines being undertaken by postgraduate students at AUT.

The first issue of the publication, which is supported by the Tuwhera Open Access team within the Library and guided by faculty and expert advisors, features abstracts from 2021’s Postgraduate Symposium, alongside a group editorial from the postgraduate-led editorial team and introductory reflections from Professor Welby Ings.

While the journal begins its journey with these pieces, AUT postgraduates are welcome to send submissions throughout the year to contribute to this inaugural issue.

Rangahau Aranga (a name which speaks to the emerging and arising voices in our AUT community) will feature not only research articles, but a range of scholarly and creative content: summaries, abstracts, reviews, commentary, creative writing. We seek to reflect the diversity of your voices, your thoughts and your experiences, as well as your academic endeavours.

If you would like to get involved as a peer reviewer, a copy-editor or would like to know more, please contact the Rangahau Aranga editorial team: rangahau.aranga@aut.ac.nz or visit our site https://ojs.aut.ac.nz/rangahau-aranga/
