We’re reaching the time of year when many people are racing to get drafts finished and publications submitted before the summer holidays. If that’s you, and you’d like some quiet writing time, read on!
On Friday October 28th, a group of AUT PG research students, along with support staff from the Graduate Research School and AUT Library, will go to the Vaughan Park retreat centre in Long Bay for a day of uninterrupted writing.
Join us for some quiet writing time, catered meals, and beach views. You will be able to sign up on the day for half-hour sessions of expert one-on-one support, so bring your questions and any small samples of writing on which you’d like feedback.
Applications are open via this form. Numbers are limited; so please apply soon if you would like to attend. You must be a research student to be eligible. Priority will be given to those who have not attended before.
This is a one-day event from 8:30am – 5pm.
More info (including future dates) is available here.
