Do You Have Children? Get in Touch!

If you are balancing research with parenting, you are not alone. There are plenty of us out there reading articles while a baby sleeps on us, or trying to focus despite the sounds of a small child tearing through the kitchen cabinets.

If this sounds like you, and you would like to share your experiences, wisdom, or warnings to other parents via Thesislink, drop me a line at airvine@aut.ac.nz. You could be featured (anonymously, if you prefer) in a future post on postgrad parents.

About Anaise Irvine

Dr Anaise Irvine is the Editor of Thesislink and leads the Researcher Education and Development team at Auckland University of Technology. Her PhD research analysed how contemporary films and novels represent genetic engineering as a social justice issue. These days she works with researchers at all levels to improve their research skills, and the most obscure of her own research skills is being able to turn novels into phylogenetic trees!
