If this sounds like your situation, you may like to apply for the next Graduate Research School Postgraduate Writers’ Retreat on 20-23 April 2020. To apply, download the application form below and return your completed copy to grs@aut.ac.nz by Friday 6 March 2020.
Successful applicants will spend 3 nights at Vaughan Park Retreat on beautiful Long Bay beach. Accommodation and cooked meals will be provided free of charge, and writing advisors will be onsite to run group sessions and provide one-to-one support.

You’ll have the best chance of being accepted to the retreat if you:
- are in a writing-intensive phase of your thesis;
- clearly demonstrate in your application how the retreat will benefit your writing; and
- get an endorsement from your supervisor
