We’re looking for volunteers to act as Presentation Stream Chairs at the 2021 Online Postgraduate Research Symposium, taking place next Friday 26 November.

The presentations in each (virtual) room are managed by Presentation Stream Chairs who introduce presenters, manage the audience, monitor the presentations, provide timekeeping reminders, and thank the presenter at the end of each presentation.
This is a chance to learn how online academic events work and get a ringside seat to some interesting research presentations. If you have an ‘academic service’ section in your CV, you can also add your chairing experience to that.
Volunteers do not need to have any prior knowledge, as there will be a training session in advance of the event day.
