AUT’s 2022 3MT Competition entrants have prepared their video presentations, and the judges have made some tough decisions in the pre-heats round.

Next, our top research communicators will compete in an online live-streamed finals event taking place from 4-5pm on Friday 5 August 2022.
During this event you’ll have the opportunity to watch the finalists’ videos, cast your Audience Vote on your device, and hear the judges’ decisions about the doctoral 3MT winner. Find out who will be representing AUT on the global stage at the Asia-Pacific finals.
The Masters competition winner will be announced at the event as well, and their winning video will be screened.
Our talented winners will take home some great prizes, including:
- Computer gear from ICT Services and supplier partner Cyclone
- Research awards from the Graduate Research School
- Lots of treats from the AUT Sport & Fitness Centres, AUT Shop, and AUT cafes.
