Tip #6: I watch Supernatural, Midsomer Murders and Antiques Roadshow, alright?

When you’re feeling stressed you can feel guilty for taking time to do a few things you love. It can feel self-indulgent. But I continued to read novels, watch films, exercise and enjoy my favourite TV shows.

I needed time out for my brain and I needed to share a relaxing activity with my poor partner whom I had looked at as if he’d slaughtered the puppies when he offered me a cuppa. For your wellbeing, and for the sake of your relationships, find ways to relax and look after your body and mind.

The Tip: You still have to have a life.
