Couldn’t get to a conference this year? With the borders largely closed, and many international research events cancelled or postponed, it’s been a tough year to disseminate research. However, local conferences and symposia are still going ahead – and many are broadening their eligibility criteria to allow lots of local scholars to participate.
There’s a research event coming up at AUT’s Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law this month, and it is open to papers from across the university.
The Gender & Diversity Research Group Postgraduate Research Symposium invites PG research students to contribute papers that have some relevance to gender and/or diversity. This theme is defined very broadly, and interested students from all disciplines are invited to participate. The symposium will take place on Thursday 26 November, with abstracts due by 19 November. You can find more details in this poster.
If you think your research might be relevant to the theme, get in touch with the organisers. This could be a chance to present your research and make some connections, all before the month is out!
