Leaping into the Unknown

Writing a doctorate can feel a bit like ‘leaping’ into the unknown. And, sometimes we become a bit lost and feel as if we have lost our inspiration! Drawing on Maurice Blanchot and interviews with doctoral students, Dr Kathryn Owler suggests that inspiration never actually leaves us, we just need to keep on writing and eventually we will find our way out of the valley! If you need some motivation, you may like to take a read of her recently published paper: http://www.textjournal.com.au/oct14/owler.htm

Kathryn will be running a workshop on this topic soon! If you are an AUT student you can log in to Careerhub to register for it here.
